Yesterday I went to weigh in for the first time in 2012. I was down .8 from my lowest yet in this journey! :) I was happy that I had gotten my holiday weight back off and then some. The whole meeting was about planning what you eat, planning breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Needless to say I had planned already for the day but it wasn't ww friendly foods.
Weigh in is at noon and the meeting is normally over at 1pm. But where they are doing a new program, the meeting is extended another thirty minutes. Which would mean I wouldn't be able to eat til 1:30! There's no way I could wait that long so on the way to weigh in I stopped at McDonald's and got a cheeseburger and a diet coke. I went in and weighed, then came back to the car to eat my cheeseburger. It's only 8 points, I didn't get fries, in all reality it's not a horrible lunch. Apparently the weight watcher karma didn't think so though, bc after the meeting was over at 1:30 I realized that I had locked my keys in the car while I had been sitting in it eating my McDonald's. :( I called my mom and Jeremy, neither one answered. So I called dear ole dad, who came to my rescue. Thanks dad!! While I was waiting on him, Jeremy called and said that one of his coworkers had read about holding the phone to the door while the other person unlocked it with the beeper from the other phone. No such luck!! Didn't work on speaker phone or regularly. Dad took me to Jeremy's work to get his key so we could open the car then drove me back to my car. What would a girl do without her daddy?
I watched Biggest Loser today while biking for 25 minutes. It was supposed to be a run day, but I just wasn't feeling it.
-I was sad to see Mike go after what he had said about his brother. I didnt' think the comment he made about the girl's brother was that big of a deal as it was made out to be. I'm sure there was more to it but from what the camera's showed it was a harmless comment.
-I don't like how Bob was pissy because Dolvett was using some of his workout techniques or how they are pitted against each other all the sudden. Yes it's a competition, I know they want their team to win, but the main goal of the show is to help the people not argue and dislike one another.
I have been reading about the woman that was abducted in Montana as i'm sure most other running bloggers have been. I hope she is found safe. I watch cop shows all the time and it's scary to think that something like that could happen and there be no evidence, no suspects, no reason, no witnesses, no anything..... In today's world it's hard to imagine something like this could happen. I feel like we've gone back in time somehow.
